Who we are.

The Clinicians Collective was created by three founders with a shared vision: paediatric practitioners work collaboratively, across disciplines, to produce the best possible clinical outcomes for their patients and families.

At The Clinicians Collective we look at things a little differently. Rather than being clinician or family led, we both empower clinicians to work together and nurture the best support for families. This comes from our combined personal experiences in clinical expertise and as the result of clinical interventions and support within our own families.

The Clinicians Collective brings healthcare professionals together and provides opportunities to work across disciplines for the benefit of everyone. At its core is our belief that working together will improve outcomes for all.

Fiona Greer

clinical development

Fiona trained as a specialist paediatric osteopath practising in Greenwich, London. Previously a director of an interdisciplinary children's therapy centre in London, she has extensive experience using a collaborative model within complex need paediatrics. Fiona is no longer practising as an osteopath.

She was an experienced postgraduate paediatric lecturer, examiner and has organised large professional paediatric international conferences.

Fiona also served as a council member of the Institute of Osteopathy 2018-2021 and was part of the Osteopathic Alliance, working with the profession to influence and shape the future of Osteopathic practice in the UK.  She has always be an advocate for interdisciplinary collaborative models in paediatric healthcare.

Fiona has multilevel experience and understanding of interdisciplinary/cross discipline therapy, clinical mentoring, supervision and CPD and can attest to how the collaborative model improved results in therapy and actively engaged practitioners.

Alexia Carter

network development

In her life and in professional roles Alexia looks for opportunities to connect people. She believes passionately in the positive impact of working collectively towards a common goal.

Alexia’s background in paediatric healthcare began at a multi-disciplinary paediatric clinic in a business & practice development role. There she experienced first hand both the therapeutic and the peer-to-peer benefits of working as a multi-disciplinary team. These insights provided a platform from which she wanted to build a collaborative community for clinicians working in different settings.

Alexia has a particular interest in professional development having spent a decade in Training and Development in Morgan Stanley’s Global Technology Department. There she promoted and facilitated cross-collaboration while growing talent acquisition, onboarding and training programmes.

Nicola Orbine

marketing & social media

With degrees in English and Marketing, Nicola started her working life at Ogilvy & Mather and went on to progress her career through the best of London’s ad agencies. Nicola worked with large blue chip clients including Unilever, GSK, Virgin, Mars, Shell, Eagle Star, Nutricia and Kraft, amongst others.

After becoming a parent, Nicola chose the flexibility of freelance project work over the demands of an agency. She also re-trained in all aspects of Social Media Marketing for business. She has completed jobs for large clients and agencies but increasingly enjoyed working with small business, helping to form workable and cost effective marketing solutions.

Nicola’s interest in setting up The Clinicians Collective was driven by the experiences of securing interventions for her own child. She has a interest in autism, specifically in how it presents in girls, and is a passionate advocate for improving support and interventions for children with SEN.
